Advertising Campaigns
These three campaigns focus on highlighting the work and people of the College of Arts and Letters to promote interest in the programs. They are included because they highlight my experience with both written and face to face communication skills. The audience is the ISU community as well as people considering college, who are on social media. Primary skills these projects highlight include research, interviewing, storytelling, and design as well as social media posting. Both the writing and design went through a feedback process as well as revisions, illustrating my ability to collaborate with others. Interviews were done via Zoom. Correspondence was done mainly via email. The design was done in Canva. I posted these on Facebook and Instagram and used Metasuite.
Website Content
These are various writing projects that show variety in my writing ability and rhetorical awareness of purpose and audience. I included them because they illustrate a variety of writing styles as well as showcase my ability to work with others, and research. The audience for the Legacy Endowment biographies would be current and/or potential donors as well as those interested in the philanthropy of ISU College of Arts and Letters donors. The audience for the ISU IMpact show descriptions are people tuning in to the show. The audience for the Substack newsletter is a large online demographic of varied individuals. The skills these projects highlight include a variety of writing styles, design, posting online content, meeting deadlines, posting/updating website content, and working with others. For the bios I worked with the dean, the director of development, emeritus faculty, the marketing coordinator, and others. Tools included using Substack and Terminal Four.
