Social Media Management
Developed a social media strategy with our media specialist that grew our reach to 101,906 views and 6,000 interactions (up 1.2%) in the last year alone.
Initiated successful partnerships across units like Athletics, The Graduate School, and Alumni to promote events and boost social media engagement. With the design and social media management skills of my Marketing Specialist, a single collaboration with Academic Affairs generated 18K views, 50% from non-followers, reaching 8K unique individuals and driving 1,317 interactions. The campaign increased visibility with 797 comments, 117 shares, and 130 new followers.

I managed the online presence for our Dean on LinkedIn. Over the past two years her LinkedIn following has increased by 780 and generated 74,367 impressions.

Impactful
Communications
Created and shared a report that led to $10,000 annual support for Undergraduate Student Travel, enabling experiential and professional growth for students.
Worked with our designer to create a report used by college leadership—including the President, Associate VP for Government Relations, Outreach and Retention Director, and the Dean—to build public support and request funding for a key high school outreach program. State leaders have been impacted by this report.
Collaborated with the Dean and Philanthropic Advisor on communications projects, including podcasts (example here) and story series (example here), that re-engaged alumni and donors, resulting in donations and sponsorships for scholarships and events and built up donor relationship funnel.

Worked with Dean on annual communications for college faculty, staff, ISU leadership to develop and communicate the vision and goals each year.
Student Content
I managed and coordinated creation of our Academic Integrity video, which was filmed and edited by one of my interns and distributed across our college for faculty.

Mel Anderson overcame great obstacles to accomplish her dream of obtaining a doctorate that was for herself. It was a privilege to share her story.
